What do people think of the
buses and our services
It is always nice to hear from those
who have traveled on the buses, or hired them for that extra special day,
and here is a brief selection of some of the nice things people have had
to say.........

Dear Mr. Hamer
Thank you so much for your
classic coach and driver on Saturday. It was a wonderful,
magical experience and everyone enjoyed the lovely journey along
Ullswater. Anthony was a great driver and very friendly and
polite. A wonderful time was had by all!
Many thanks.

Dear Will, Claire, Anthony and Alison,
Last week I had a grand day out, as Wallace and Grommit would say, when I went to Hawes. I even bought some Wensleydale cheese at the Creamery (they kept my bus ticket). I have now eaten most of the cheese but the photographs have now arrived to remind me of the occasion.
But the cheese was not the highlight of the day. That was the journey through the Mallerstang valley on one of your excellent vintage buses. It was a bonus to see that two of your fleet had been turned out. It was a pity that the weather was less than perfect, as were a couple of the photos. I thought that you might like copies anyway.
Best wishes
P.S. I liked your web site. |

Dear Will,
How refreshing these days to find everything working as planned. Virgin trains could do worse than take a week's course in CCC's modus operandi.
Mind you, I knew it would go like a dream on the day because from my very first call to you back in March or April I had the sense that I was dealing with a professional who would sooner jump off a window ledge than let down a customer. The wedding was brilliant, not least because of much-commented-on "nice touch" of the vintage buses. I shall be delighted to put any resulting inquiries your way. Please thank Anthony and the ladies for their part in a beautifully-run operation.

Dear Mr. Hamer,
On behalf of my colleague, and myself, please accept our sincere thanks for the splendid contribution Cumbria Classic Coaches made to our Sunderland Point Excursion last Saturday. It was a real treat to travel on your coach and we certainly hope to be able to welcome you back to our district again in the near future. We were also interested to see your Company highlighted in 'Old Glory' Magazine, and look forward to seeing the article next month.

Dear Will,
Thank you so much for the wonderful coaches on our wedding day! The guests absolutely loved them, and you were so gracious and kind in your service to Greystoke Church and Greystoke Castle.
We have some photographs of the coaches with Greystoke Castle in the background that we particularly enjoy. Thank you so much once again.

Dear Will,
On behalf of the Members of the Association we write to thank you very much indeed for a splendid trip aboard your 'Tiger'.
Everybody thoroughly enjoyed the run, and you even provided the perfect spring weather to see Derwent Water and Borrowdale at their best. The Bowder Stone provided a lovely short walk, and to finish off with a stop at a real ale pub on the way back was a fitting end to the day!
Many Thanks.

Dear Mr. Hamer,
Thank you for all your efforts and consideration which helped to make Edward and Anna's wedding day wonderful.
The rides on the vintage coach were much enjoyed and appreciated by the guests. The souvenir tickets were most appreciated by the 20-30 age group and I'm certain that the story of the rescuing of the bridesmaids will be retold for many years.
The coach was a lovely complement to the bridal vintage cars.

Dear Will, Claire and Alison,
I am back home in sunny Sussex and
enjoying a cup of coffee from a Cumbria Classic Coaches mug!
I must thank you all again for making
my stay at Bowber Head so memorable. I had a wonderful time
and just wish that I could have stayed much longer.
The food was excellent, the
accommodation very comfortable and most of all the superb
hospitality that made us all feel part of the family. And not
forgetting the wonderful buses. It all made it the most
enjoyable holiday that I have had for many years!
I will definitely be returning for
another visit, possibly for the Kirkby Stephen rally next
Easter? I am looking forward to enjoying another portion of
Alison's sticky toffee gravy pudding! Next time I will pack
my overalls just in case I can help with the Commer.
Thank you again for everything and
see you all again soon.
With very kind regards,
