AND HISTORY
1946/68 First owned Preston Corporation Transport Department.
Used as a supermarket bus and a polling booth. We estimate this bus has probably only done about 250,000 miles.
1968/78 In preservation by 3 various enthusiasts
1978/1999 Stored in garage by T. Snape of Leyland
1999 Bought by Cumbria Classic Coaches and Class VI tested, re-painted as original and put into
use for wedding transport, film buses, bus services and coach hire. Rosie has
appeared on 'Island at War' and a recent documentary on the life of Wainwright.
Now affectionately known as "Rosie".
