AND HISTORY
1950/1970 First owned by Alexanders northern region. Operated all routes. Mileage probably in excess of 1.5 million.
1970/1980 Farming worker's bus on a berry farm near Elgin
1980/1986 Brought to Falkirk by an ex-Alexander's bus inspector.
1986/1990 Kept at Scottish Railway Preservation Society's yard and vandalised.
1990/1998 Various owners including Maypole Coaches of Ormskirk and W. Audley of Redruth and refurbished as a service bus. Used on private hire, tours and wedding commissions around Land's End, Cornwall.
July 1998 Purchased by Cumbria Classic Coaches from Redruth in Cornwall and driven to Cumbria overnight. Commenced service as PSV. Most famously and favouritely used as the Kendal Klipper, free shopping bus during the summer.
This coach was used by the BBC for the filming of Strathblair and by Scottish television for Dr. Findlay's Casebook
